books @ cc. contains my book reviews, written sporadically without specific schedules. I usually post them in batches: some are newly-read, others old but whimsically considered worthy of a review/blurb. Categories (subjects and regions) are used liberally in the broadest sense. Qualifications

I have no academic background relevant to my readings, and English is not my native language—that’s my sorry excuse for bad grammar/spelling (my Indonesian is worse). Just a note: a significant number of these books were borrowed or read standing at a bookshop, and my memory is unreliable.
